Amos lee has been a main influence for me as long as I can remember. Not only for song writing but for experiencing different types of feelings. So here is a new song of his that have yet to be on and album.

So since being up in Jackson I have been cooking alot. I have tried to master chinese stocks and broths. It has been hard and easy to perfect such flavors as pork, chicken and beef when it comes to stocks for soups. After many trials I have managed to perfect the soup broth you might commonly know as wonton soup. At the same time I’d like to think that what I have created is much more than your typical soup broth. I will have recipes soon. Once I am happy with what I have created the secrets will be yours.

This is really my first time alone for this years halloween. I spent the hole day cooking alone, which was great, though still something I wasn’t used to experiencing. Yet I made up for it with a new song I have been working on and finally finished it. Gonna record an unplugged version here soon. I will keep you posted.

Spent this past weekend with my sis in Boulder, Colorado. Went to a few parties with her and I start to wonder how it is she knows so many people in such a short period of time. Dad was wondering if she ever really goes to class. She is loving college! We also went to the CU Football game with my parents and had a great time.
We stayed at the St. Julian hotel and one evening we spent most of our time in the lobby/bar area. A small trio of guys played and I was impressed with their talents. They did a real nice job. Kind of reminded me of some of my gigs with Isacc Hayden here in Jackson.
Bottom line was that this was a good weekend that helped me clear my mind and get new inspiration from all that happened. Ended the trip in Boarder Books were I found some real interesting books on song writing and playing techniques. So back in Jackson working on my new tracks. Hope to have some soon to share.

I think I am going to take a break and head to Boulder, Colorado this coming weedend. I am going to spend some time with my siss Blaire and go see the Buff’s football game. Looking forward to spending some time down there. Boulder is cool place with many nice music venues, not to mention all the great restaurants. Need the break!
